We had such an amazing time celebrating #IWD2022 with the wonderful members that joined us for the workshop "Really Own Any Room", thank you! The biggest thank you needs to go to Charmaine for making the event so insightful and engaging.
Here are our takeaways:
Body Language is a key component of communication more so than voice and choice of words
A woman's greatest strengths in communication are her ability to read & interpret body language and knowing when to switch between stronger forms of communication and softer ones
Steeple! Hands placed and used properly during interactions can signify trust and openness, "transfer" stress or help women take up space for confidence

Very pleased that we also surpassed our fundraising target for Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT) Digital Literacy for Women campaign by 16.7% at a total of S$1167! Thank you to all donors.
WiRE believes that gaining digital skills will have lasting tangible impact on these women's employability and their families' livelihoods.
