Lloyd’s and WiRE celebrates International Women’s Day with a Charity, Networking and Afternoon Tea. Mel Goddard (Underwriting Director, Lloyd’s Market Association) delivered her message by sharing her achievements in a male dominated industry. With the theme “press for progress” she talked about the changes that have taken place since she first joined the industry in 1978 and what needs to change today. Her welcome speech was followed by an afternoon tea networking, trivia and charity reception.
