WiRE Webinar Series- "GIS – Moving the earth into a different perspective"

WiRE is delighted to host our first Webinar in 2022, where we continue to focus on Tech and Innovation in (re)insurance.

Allianz Re’s Geospatial Solutions and Analytics team, with deep expertise in Geographic Information System (GIS), provide tools, analytics and solutions to support the (re)insurance market in the optimization of cat portfolios, giving users the ability to assess, underwrite and price natural perils.

In this Webinar, we invite Michael Keilbach, Head of Geospatial Solutions and Analytics at Allianz Re, to share how GIS is becoming a crucial technology across many different areas of (re)insurance value chain.

Michael will use real examples to unfold how GIS enables users to view their portfolio in a geospatial context, support Hazard Risk Assessment and check Exposure Accumulations in the underwriting workflow, etc. He will also share advices to young professionals and students interested in GIS and looking for a career opportunity in (re)insurance.

Please register your interest early. As this event is held virtually, we have very limited spaces available and only for a maximum number per organization. Priority will be given to organizations who are Ordinary and Associate Members of the Singapore Reinsurers’ Association (SRA). If the maximum limit is reached per organization, spaces will be allocated on a first come, first-served basis.

Registration closes on 14th of January or when all available spaces are taken up or allocated, whichever is the earlier. A Zoom link will be sent to successful registered participants before the event.
